The roof system is fully supported by the high compressive strength of the FOAMGLAS® and the use of specially designed fixing plates compatible with the outer skin of stainless steel, zinc or copper ensures the integrity of the whole system, ensuring that there is no cold bridging between the internal and external elements of the roof build-up. A bituminous membrane provides secondary protection against water ingress.

The
use of FOAMGLAS® for standing seam roofs ensures an airtight
construction eliminating the problems caused by ingress of water
and penetration of cold air into the roof space. The risk of interstitial
condensation in the roof construction is avoided.
