Ecologically FOAMGLAS® cellular glass meets the most stringent demands for an environmentally sound material. In manufacturing, 66% post-consumer waste glass is utilised, combined with a manufacturing process which minimises energy use.

The result is an insulation material which provides high performance throughout the lifetime of the process, through to its eventual disposal as an inert material or its re-use. FOAMGLAS® is totally free from HCFC, HFA and pentane.

The Keymark (a quality mark), has been developed by the insulation industry and independent bodies working to the rules of the CEN Certification Board and the SDG 5. It is a voluntary mark but it shows compliance with the requirements of the relevant CEN/CENELEC Standard(s). It is granted only after satisfactory completion of a certification procedure, comprising product conformity tests (initial type tests), assessment of documented factory production control, production site inspection and surveillance.

FOAMGLAS® is manufactured to IS0 9001:2000 standard.
